🎵🎵🎵”Getting to know you…”🎵🎵🎵

As you know, Lee love’s getting out into the crowd on a show night! Wether it’s on the tables during the show or just to have a chat to some of you lovely Thorites and Hammerheads during the break.

But how well do you know our very own caped crusader??? Well, here he answers the questions that REALLY matter! 10 questions, 10 answers!!!

 1) What’s the best part of being in a band?
I do like the dressing up. Which other job can you wear a cape and a kilt on the same day? When somebody sees us for the first time, the look in their face when the see me come on in the costume is great.

2) And the worst?

Sometimes, Friday shows are a pain. Doing a full day at work, going home and going straight out again until 2am is really tiring. Other than that, getting eyeliner off at 2am is a right ball ache!!!

3) Who is your favourite band?
I love a couple. My top 3, in no particular order, would be Queen, Journey and Iron Maiden.

My favourite band on the club scene is definitely Here’s Jonny. They’re unbelievably entertaining and 4 of the nicest guys you could ask to meet.

4) What is your favourite song to perform?
I like performing Lamborghini Woman, something I’ve had a hand in creating. But my favourite at the moment is We Are The Champions. That will change soon though.

5) What is your favourite food?

Definitely my mum’s home made salmon fish cakes. But curry comes a very close second.

6) What do you do in your spare time?
Mainly go out and watch my mates bands. But I’ve just started playing hockey again after 4 years away, I go to the gym 3 times a week.

7) What is your favourite film?

Ghostbusters. The original one of course. Absolute classic! Ghostbusters 2 was okay, but the new one? Nah! I had all of the merchandise as a kid. The action figures, the costume, the lot. I’ve even got the Lego Ghostbusters car.

8) What is the first thing you do in the morning?
Hit the snooze button…a lot!!!

9) If you could have a meal with anybody, dead or alive, who would it be?

My Grandad. Without doubt. He was my hero. He always taught me to create my own path instead of follow one somebody has already made.

I’d like to ask him what he thinks of what I do with the band. I’m not sure he’d appreciate the style of music…or the cape, but I like to think he’d be proud of what I do.

10) Finally, what is the one thing about you that people wouldn’t expect?

I go to aqua aerobics on a Monday night. Initially, I only went to support the wife. But now I actually quite enjoy it!!!
